A bleed is a printed area that extends beyond the trim edge. It ensures that the printed area will reach the very edge after the sheet is trimmed. Lack of bleed can result in white, uneven margins.
Text should be at least 4 mm from the trim line; text placed closer may be cut off when trimming the job to its final size.\\nThe trimmer's tolerance is up to 2 mm, which is why text should not be prepared closer than the specified limit.
